FROM THE OTHER SIDE

From the other side of what? Firstly FBC. Otherwise known as f**king breast cancer. Secondly....of the world....at least right now. This is the story of one woman's life as she squeezes the most out of every day. Or as I like to say 'I live life hard'. Breast cancer has taught me that regrets are for other people and that adventure is for me. I am an FBC survivor diagnosed in Sept 2010 and currently (as of April 2012), an Australian living in New York. My adventures reach far and wide and while travel is one of my devotions, there's plenty more to cover right here in NYC. My other great loves include my best friend (and dog) Chilli Sparkles (a chemo present to myself), fine dining, clean eating, coffee, running, triathlons, music, the beach, fashion/shopping, reading, and of course my precious friends and family. I am lucky to enjoy what I do on the job front and in that regard I am a digital nerd who loves writing, photos and design. I guess it's no surprise then that blogging has become another devotion of mine?!

Going to the country gunna eat me a lot of peaches

I don’t even like peaches. Or even any fruit to be honest. But I do like that tune, especially today!

So, mummy and I left Australia to live here with Auntie Micole more than 2 months ago now. During that time mummy has:

- Been snow boarding/ skiing in Vail

- Been to Miami for a girls weekend

- Went to New Orleans (and it felt like she/they were gone forever!)

- Been to Chicago, like I don’t know maybe 5 times!!

And I’ve been to Queens. Just Queens. That’s the one and only time I left the Island.

But that all changes this weekend, because we are going on a road trip to the Catskills. I don’t really know what’s there but I’m hoping lots of cats to chase. Or if not maybe some squirrels? The main thing is I am going on Vacay!!!

Am seriously in the best mood today. Got a lovely long walk in CP, the weather is amaze, did some high fiving for yummy treats and mummy and AM will be home at 3pm so we can take off. Wooooohooooooooo!!!!
